Surya’s Hindi Movie – Rakta Charitra

Rakta Charitra is a forthcoming bilingual Indian film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, made in Hindi and Telugu languages. As the entire film is said to last for about 5 hours, the film will be divided into two parts, which will be releasing within three months gap.[1] The film is said to depict the life of the slain political leader Paritala Ravindra.[1] All the versions stars Vivek Oberoi in the lead role as Paritala Ravi. Tamil actor Surya Sivakumar enacts the role of Maddalcheruvu Suri in both versions,[2] hence making his Bollywood debut, whilst Shatrughan Sinha and Mohan Babu are playing N. T. Rama Rao’s role in Hindi and Telugu, respectively. The film, currently in its production stage, will be released in late 2010.
